One of the major drawbacks of wooden buildings is the potential for termite infestation. Termites are a major problem in every state.

Wooden buildings must be treated against termites periodically, which is an expense you will not have with a steel-framed building. Termites can’t get their tiny teeth into steel.

By the same token, steel doesn’t rot, warp or split.

Safer

Steel doesn’t burn, so steel-framed buildings are more fire-resistant than any other type of material. In addition, pre-engineered steel buildings are structurally sound and will typically not be damaged by seismic activity.

Faster to build

On average, a prefabricated industrial steel structure can be delivered to the client in anywhere from eight to ten weeks from time of purchase, which allows for framing materials and panels to be manufactured and assembled.

Once the materials have been delivered to your location, an experienced crew can assemble the building on the site prepared within a few days.
