Name
Email address
Phone number
Postal address
Other identifiers as needed
When you provide your phone number, we may use it to communicate with you by phone call or SMS/text message, including through trusted third-party communication providers such as SinchSMS and Twilio, where permitted by law and subject to your consent when required.
If you interact with us by phone, SMS/text, voicemail, chat, or through an AI-powered conversational agent, we may collect and process information from those communications, including message content, call recordings, call transcripts, voicemail recordings, chat history, inquiry details, project information, appointment details, quote-related information, and related metadata such as date, time, duration, phone number, and communication status.
We may use conversational AI tools, including SimpleTalk AI, to assist with responding to inquiries, gathering project information, qualifying requests, scheduling follow-up, routing communications, and maintaining customer records.
Information automatically collected
When you use the Services, we automatically collect technical and usage information, such as:
IP address and browser / device details
Operating system, browser type, language settings
Referring URLs, pages visited, time stamps, clicks, feature usage
Log data, diagnostic info, and system events
Location data (approximate, via IP) if permissible under your device settings
This collection supports analytics, security, and performance monitoring.
We process your personal data under valid legal bases (e.g. consent, performance of contract, legitimate interest). Key uses include:
Responding to inquiries & providing support
Marketing & promotional communications, with your consent where required
Personalized advertising & retargeting
Usage analytics & service improvements
Operational security, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations
If we rely on consent for certain uses (e.g. marketing), you can withdraw that consent later (see Section 8).
In addition to email and other digital communications, we may send service-related or marketing SMS/text messages to your mobile device using trusted third-party messaging providers such as Twilio. Service-related messages may include responses to your inquiry, appointment reminders, quote-related updates, transaction updates, or other communications related to your request. Marketing messages may include promotional updates, special offers, or related communications, where permitted by law and subject to your consent when required.
We may also use conversational AI tools, including SimpleTalk AI, to help process and respond to inbound or outbound communications. This may include recording, transcribing, analyzing, summarizing, and routing conversations so that we can respond to inquiries, improve lead handling, support sales and customer service workflows, train and improve our processes, maintain accurate CRM records, and comply with applicable legal or operational requirements.
We may share your data with:
Service providers / vendors / contractors who support us (e.g. hosting, CRM, email marketing, ad platforms).
Advertising & marketing partners, e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, remarketing platforms.
Affiliates, business partners, or during a business transition (merger, acquisition).
Legal obligations — to comply with laws, court orders, or protect rights.
Examples of tools we use include: Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twilio, SimpleTalk AI, and advertising/retargeting networks. We may share your telephone number, SMS consent status, message content, communication history, call recordings, transcripts, and related communication data with third-party service providers such as Twilio and SimpleTalk AI solely for business purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including sending SMS/text communications, responding to inquiries, supporting customer service, managing lead intake, maintaining CRM records, improving communication workflows, and complying with applicable requirements.
We do not sell or share personal information for commercial purposes without your explicit consent, except as permitted by applicable law. We do not authorize these service providers to use your personal information for their own independent marketing purposes.
Yes. We and third parties may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to collect and store information. These help us:
Recognize your device and preferences
Enable essential functionality
Provide analytics and performance insights
Deliver targeted advertising
You can manage cookie settings via your browser. Disabling cookies may reduce functionality. For full details, see our Cookie Notice.
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described (or as required by law). Once no longer needed, we will either:
Delete the data
Anonymize it (so it cannot be re-identified)
Or isolate it securely (e.g. in backups) pending safe removal
For example, customer contact data may be retained for 2 years after last interaction (unless longer retention is legally required). Communication records, including SMS/text message history, call recordings, voicemails, transcripts, AI-generated summaries, and CRM notes, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, support customer service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve our services, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
We implement “reasonable organizational and technical measures” (e.g. encryption, access controls, audits) to protect your data. We also rely on third-party service providers, such as communication, CRM, hosting, analytics, and conversational AI vendors, to apply appropriate safeguards to the information they process on our behalf.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access or attacks.
We do not knowingly collect or market to minors under 18 years old.
If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us to have it deleted.

Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
Delete your personal data (subject to legal exceptions)
Restrict or object to certain processing
Withdraw consent where we rely on it

To exercise these rights, contact us (see Section 12). We may require identity verification before honoring requests. SMS/Text Messaging Opt-Out: If you receive SMS/text messages from us, you may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive or by contacting us at info@steelcobuildings.com. Standard message and data rates may apply. Opting out of SMS/text messages will not affect your ability to receive other types of communications you’ve consented to, such as email.
Your browser or device may have a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting.
However, no uniform standard is yet established for honoring DNT signals, so we currently do not act on DNT requests. If the standard changes, we’ll update this policy.
